Samuel Robert

Samuel started to work with cold gas dynamic spraying (CGDS) during his undergrad

program in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ottawa, where he completed two internships. He was involved with a research project, funded by Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO), which investigated the use of cold sprayed coatings as corrosion protection for used fuel canisters.

Samuel began the M.A.Sc. program in Mechanical Engineering in January 2013 at the University of Ottawa. He is currently working on the restoration of non load-bearing aluminum aircraft parts using CGDS.

Samuel is also working part-time as a designer for a small company located in Gatineau, Quebec.
