Francesco Delloro

Francesco finished his master in theoretical physics in 2007 at the University of Torino (Italy).
He worked for one year as a contract researcher at “Politecnico di Torino” on the modeling of solid oxide fuel cell, in particular in gas reforming reactors. Then he worked two years as a contract researcher at CNR in Genova, dep. of Energetics, on the European project “IDEAL-cell”, focusing in the development of a finite element modeling of this innovating SOFC concept.
In 2011 he moved to France for his PhD at the “Centre des Matériaux” de l’Ecole des Mines de Paris (MINES ParisTech). He got his PhD on july 2015 defending his thesis titled “A new approach to 3D modeling of the cold spray process,
combining morphological methods and finite element simulations”. He is now continuing his research on the cold spray process as a post doctoral fellow in a joint research program between uOttawa and MINES ParisTech.
